Now Knitting........................

Now I am knitting a vest for Emily.
It's made from several balls of wool (four to be exact) that I had in my stash. Wool I had bought purely because it was "pretty", combined it should make a fairly nice vest. I got the pattern from here http://www.morehousefarm.com/KnittingKits/Sweaters_for_Children/BumbleBee/.
I'll keep you posted.

School Holidays

We survived another school holidays, just!!!!
I'm sick of the catch cry " I'm bored!"
I'm sick of playstation games and computer games.
I'm sick of the never ending expenditure.
I'm sooooo glad school is in tomorrow, it's the best birthday present anyone could ask for.

Killer Pies!!!

Thanks to the Sunday Supper posts on Meet Me At Mikes, I made this chicken and veg pie. A killer recipe, awesome result though the pie took over my kitchen. Mmmmmmm pie.

We went to visit the zoo one day...............

On the weekend we went to Taronga Zoo. Being Zoo Friends we get to go there anytime, it's certainly been worth it as we don't have to rush around to see everything in one day. Sometimes we even look at the real animals!!!!

Softies For Mirabel

She's finally finished!!!!!
Not sure what to call her though.

* Saw Edward Scissor Hands at the Opera House.

* Saw Hamlet at the Opera House.

* Began knitting Emily a vest ( more to come )

* Went to Leanne's birthday dinner, mmmmmm vindalooooooo!

* Almost completed softies for Mirabel project.

* Went for a little bushwalk.

* Got sick from a little tick bite!!! Damn that bushwalk!

* Stayed inside due to lots of rain!

* Made lots of Banana Bread.

I hope July will be sunnier.
